Here's what you should do. 1st: Contact the website owner and ask kindly to remove your content If this doesn't help 2nd: Contact his host and tell him/her about the issue If this doesn't help 3rd: Contact his advertiser (probably Google Adsense) and tell about the isssue with copying content And this will help for you, it it's Google then he will get his account banned.
There is no solution for it. you can't stop any one except to complain putted that website in black listing.
Just change your RSS feed to display part of the content, instead of whole blog post. In this case, you actually benefit from it. YOu will get backlinks without anyone posting all the blog posts.
From my personal experience, this is a very widespread issue on the Internet. There are loads of sites and blogs that automatically harvest the stuff from your site using RSS feed. It's not that awful if those scrapers insert a backlink to your original articles but that happens rarely. Google claim they can identify the original content perfectly well but I'd still advise you to restrict the volume of your RSS by reducing the number of automatically scrapeable content. Additionally, you might wanna try to contact the bad guys insisting that they discontinue this practise.
Take advantage of it by having some good, keyword-rich anchor text on your posts pointing to other posts/pages in your site, making sure that the links include your full URLs. If it's just a scraper site with no real Pagerank I wouldn't really worry about it.
crap backlinks are useless last year i got reply from adsense support team after 3.5 months regarding my payment issue. ip address will ban in .htaccess file? i send u pm for further help. becoz my no. of competitors are grwoing. Niche is already crowded. yeah my ranking is better than his blog he has pr 0 site so no profit, spam sites backlinks do not worth. do u mean internal link building? Why u will not worry. I will ban his ip address and changes in rss feed as suggested by many dp fellows.
I wouldn't worry if they are not outranking me for keywords in my own article. The time to worry is when someone is outranking you and you are not given credit by the search engines as being the originator of the article you published.
This. I do it with one of my blogs, and it works. I also like to include a lot of supporting images (diagrams) in my articles that are crucial to understanding what I'm writing about. I watermark those images with my logo and URL, so even if they get ripped off people can still see where it came from.
I never advice this but just throw in the towel. You are fighting a battle you can not or will ever win. A blog scraper guy in India or china could care less about some millennium act. Just live with it. It's the internet era. "Most" businesses relying solely on google and other search engines for traffic is bound to lose everything at some point. Live with it or start doing the same as them.
if you are in india there is less chance of being caught... so better dont worry .. google will not tolerate copied content ... so dont worry about it....
Use RSS Footer to gain the backlink if they use you content, contact their webhost of you feed really upset about it.
I guess that's not an issue to worry about, You still be up in SERP on the keywords from the particular content and plus you are getting an additional back link from other website....
That's not true at all as far as duplicate content. Reported content under the millennium act that's a different story.
Tell him you traced him and you gonna show up with Johnny and Castrano to break his legs to collect some aging fees.
I had someone stealing my content so I did this mysiteranked.com/2010/01/im-a-bloody-idiot-and-love-to-steal-content-from-websites/ They soon removed my blog from the site, Its a little bit drastic but does work
