if PayPal is available for your country then why don't you sign-up for it !! see PayPal - worldwide

if you look at the profile of a member here then you can find his/her itrader (feedback score) rating. it is just an indicator of his / her working.
if it is very high then you may assume that he / she is trust-worthy. ( A person with no itrading can also be an honest person with required skills !! )

can you ask him to send you an invoice? I believe you can pay via paypal without having an account if its thru an invoice. Hope this helps!

Why are you thanking him when he doesn't even understand your problem and his "solution" makes no sense. Tell the person who pays you that you don't accept paypal, since your country does not allow it, but he can pay with moneybookers. Involving a third party is just asking for problems.

I dont feel its in your best interest to look for a middle man. Rather, you can look for alternative payment methods like asking him to pay via wire transfer.
