i need some advice as this is the first time someone is offering to buy my domain thru a GoDaddy Broker. GoDaddy sent me an email telling me someone is interested in my domain. And in the email was a link to one of their page asking if i was interested to sell my domain. When i clicked YES, they offered $1,500. I would really like to counter offer a higher price. Because i'm pretty sure it's worth a bit more. But how much would be a fair price? Is $1,500 the buyer's maximum price or is it just GoDaddy's broker price?
A professional appraisal can tell you how much your domain is worth to determine the fair price. Other than this, I have no idea on how to deal with Godaddy brokerage services when it comes to sell a domain, sorry.
Perhaps go to a live chat room and get an appraisal from fellow domainers, or post it for appraisal on a forum board. I am a person who doesn't believe in paying for appraisals though so I wouldn't reccomend that. You can also use a lot of free automated appraisal sites that are on the web. Or do all of the above and try to get an average. I'm sure you can counter-offer, but I have never dealt with GoDaddy brokerage service so I am not sure. You might just want to call them and ask them for some advice, I've called GoDaddy a few times in the past and they are usually very helpful.
