It varies depending on your message, what you're selling and who you're selling to. Did the people you're marketing to opt-in to your list from your website? If so, is your product/service relevant to your site? Etc. etc.

I tried it in the past and the conversion rate was high. 20%-40% I would say. I was advertising a job search engine. Now, if you want to do a bulk email method, make sure you check with your website hosting provider if it's ok for you to do that. Bulk emailing as well as some other advertising methods are now labeled "spamvertising" and your web hosting provider may not like it. Read their ToS carefully before doing spamvertising of any kind.

Conversion ratio for Bulk mailing is less. It might start from even 0.1% and in some cases it may goes upto 4-5% max.

I would consider this spam. No one wants blasted feeds, of some random "viagra pill" or whatever. Although you`ll get the small few, clicking on what your offering, but majority will mark it as "spam".

Yes, I am using Email marketing software for sending out Emails in bulk. And the average conversion rate is 30% (one year average).

I would avoid bulk email marketing because it would be looked at as spamming.

Spamming will get you fined, blacklisted and have your ISP shutdown.

Its so easy to learn how to generate your own leads

Have tried that long time back, nowadays email readers have become more wise and they dont even open if there is a sales pitch in the subject, even if they opens if they find you are trying to sell something they just hit the 'delete' button
