Someone is using the articles that I wrote on my blog without my permission. The person has not linked back to the article pages from his website. What he has done is put my blog in his contributors list as he has done with 4 or 5 other websites and blogs he is publishing articles from. You can check the spamming website at here. I am already loosing rankings for certain keywords because of this spamming blog( as this has gained high ranking). Now I need suggestions from you guys on what should I do now. I have already tried to make a contact with that person, but he doesn't responded. I have even reported it to Google and the response is awaited. Is there any other way I can get my original content removed from that person's duplicate content website. My blog can be found here

Thats why your own domain name is always goood, as google trust them more then free ones. But Yes as enrico suggested, you should go for DMCA option.
You do have rights, But common after all you dont own it, do you? there is always a chance that it can be taken down for any reason. your own property belongs to you , is always yours...then why taking chance for cheap stuff? Just my opinion. In My case ill always go for my own domain with wordpress setup. at least ill have all the rights to do whatever with it.
