someone Used Joomla and Virtuemart?? Need help Please

If someone out there has used joomla with the virtuemart component please let me know how you go about changing the user fields - basically I'm selling digital products - so when someone buys a product - I dont want all the extra fields - like ph no, fax, address ect - I want to remove these feilds and make it basic

Hi, even if you are selling digital products you still want to collect the customer’s address, it is the only way that the credit card processor can verify the billing information, unless you are planning on accepting only PayPal payments. The other fields [phone, fax] can be taken away. In the newest version on VirtueMart you can specify exactly what fields you want to be displayed in the registration page.

I agree, but sometimes it is hard finding answers in that forum. I'm trying hard to change that.
