Someone uploading files to my site.

    Some is uploading files to my site that are like core. some number and each is like 20 mb and keeps filling up my disk space..How do I get it to stop..nothing on my cpu is causing I ran a scan..

    core files are caused by a perl script running wild. Check your perl scripts.

    check u havnt accidently allowed public FTP access also.

    Contact your web host right away also...I'm sure they'll want to know about it and they'll probably be able to figure it out quickly.

    i dunno about the first, but somewhere is your hosting control panel u should have a section for ftp accounts and should be a setting that allows/disallows public ftp.

    alph i did they dont know whats wrong and just4teens I went to the ftp section then to anonymous users or something and unclicked allow anonymous access to the site.

    Have u written any script on ur own or take script from others ? because it might be malfunctioning. Ask ur host to help you. It should be there responsibility and they can do this easily.:rolleyes:

    PS: Are u talking about your proxy site ?

    ya the proxy sote i have is the only one doing this im using phproxy would it help putting the default stuff on then customizing everything again?
