Same goes here, I received both, and both have the different IP and ISP i think. Have contacted the Mod here, and I think they are doing something about it now. Hopefully nothing will happen to our account.

Reminder- set your password to something nobody could ever guess.

    Use letters number and symbols.

It is probably more of a spam attempt than a hack attempt. I got the same thing.

I got it too. I changed my password but I have to say that whoever said it's probably spam maybe right. I would have thought any serious hacker would have got into at least one account by now.

Yup I got it as well. And the funny thing is that the password that DP sent me was ancient and I had changed it months ago. So regardless of the attempt they would not have gotten in due to the incorrect password that was sent.

So like what was already suggesteds change your password, monthly if not weekly and make sure it does have numbers, symbols and letters mixed up.

In analyzing situations like this, I always look for a common thread.

In this scenario the common thread seems to be people with accounts here on DP. However, I wonder if any of the other forums are getting the same thing?

Does anyone here have their email address listed here going to or through (being forwarded) a gmail account?
