Bet it is someone you have done business with and has some info on you such as msn & yahoo ids, email address etc. One lesson here is don't get stuck in a rut on ids and passwords.

Maybe he/she's an honest hacker and just wanted the account to legitamately sell their site and/or services in a hurry instead of waiting till they could post in the BST forum because their sister/brother/mother/father/etc. is sick and they need to money right away
I think these people knows how DP is valuable and so they tried to hack an account of a well established member. --Joe
Hmm, it's strange, I don't recall doing any business with anyone in that part of the world. I guess I'm safe if they didn't manage to figure it out in 5 attempts!
Actually, that's unlikely to be accurate - it may be where the data center is but is probably not where the person lives.
