Someone trying to ban me from adsense

Just logged into my account and noticed on one of my sites, the page CTR is more than 128% and my earnings are up way above average. I e-mailed adsense about this. Hopefully they respond soon and don't ban me:mad:

I've had CTR rates higher than 600% before and I'm still an active member (and I never e-mailed them about it). You should be fine and I wouldn't worry about it.

Does the higher than usual CTR correspond to a higher than usual traffic/impression number?

I don't understand why anyone would even want to do click-bombs, it seems so pathetic. I'm pretty sure that a website won't go out of business just because of clickbombing. But Google has been know not to listen to people AFTER a person has been banned from Google, which is another defect about the great search engine.

perhaps they think it's better to err on the side of caution than to allow click-frauds.

I suppose, but that makes them faulty. I wish someone could compete with Google though, it would be pretty amusing!

It is pathetic, but the Internet is full of pathetic, childish, and petty people. Your competitors might not like that you're raking in the dough, and want to ruin you. You might get into an argument with some kid and beaten him to a pulp verbally, so he writes a script and goes after your Adsense account. Trust me, it ain't imaginary -- Adsense sabotage is VERY REAL.

I have ask google the similar question below

Q :What will be if someone we do not know click the ad on my web site crazily ? or the one just click for fun ?will that impact my right ?

    Answer from G:
Google monitors clicks on ads to prevent any abuse of the AdSense program. Google's proprietary technology analyzes all ad clicks for any invalid click activity that is intended to artificially drive up an advertiser's clicks or a publisher's earnings. Please be assured that if you are not associated in any invalid activity that occurs on your site, you will be not be implicated and you will continue to accrue earnings associated with valid clicks.

So I think you r ok for the case .

I think that they might compare a great number of the IP Addresses clicking on the links to the IP Address which is logging into the Google AdWords Account. It would be a pretty safe and smart move.

No, traffic/impressions are the same. Well they haven't replied yet, but I'm not banned either so I think I will be fine. Maybe it was some really curious Joe clicking on every ad he saw, I dunno. So far today no unusual activity.

Depending on the magnitute of the spike, it could trigger a review of the account by the AdSense team. Google does not ban without analyzing the circumstances involved.

I think that it is good that you send email to inform them. It is *not that big* ctr, but better is report everything that bothering you in a matter of regular use of adsense and respect of tos.

btw, i got same problem fiew days ago. ctr was 1200%. 1 page view, 1 ad spot, 12 clicks. unpleasant situation. reported that fiew minutes after.

i had an idiot try and 'click bomb' my ads on my site, he also went out to countless domains finding my ads and clicking them, driving up costs slightly (though also increasing my CTR) i was pretty paranoid, i sent an e-mail to google about my concerns and they pretty much sent me the same canned e-mail. nothing came of it though. Did take them a while to get back to me. I actually know the person who did it. (may still do it again who knows) he's also DDoS'd the site, used proxies to pound it/download it etc.. etc.. i guess google has a decent grip on dealing with people like this. I'd be pretty pissed if he succeeded though.

Uh oh, now that's a problem, guy. And don't take Google's silence as an indication everything's okey dokey. It takes them a while to reply, especially if you contact them via their main email address, which, I'm sure, gets thousands upon thousands of emails a day, and even if they read all of it one by one, it'll take a while for yours to get to them.
