    got the same email and someone tried to hack my DP account but weird thing was i got the same exact email from SugarCRM. Both accounts are still stable. No one got in.

    So, I received a notice today that someone had attempted 5+ times to login to my digitalpoint account. The attempt was made from a ip address that I traced to a "ThePlanet" box. Does anyone have any ideas how I could see what other sites/emails are linked to that box. I mainly want to see if the person trying to hack my account was someone I know or some random hacker.

    it appears to be a random hacker, there was a post made the other day by someone asking if there is a list of members here, i remember they were a new member. and it looks like they are working down the list in alphabetical order.

    it might not have anything to do with it, but a strange request for a new member. but he asked 2 days ago and the hacking started 2 days ago.

    Received the same email from DigitalPoint today and the individual trying to login had the same ip addy as others in this thread have already reported.

    What sorta low lifes would need to hack a dp account, I mean really does the person think their is no other way to contact trusted DP members to deal with him?

    Shoot, if it's alphabetical, they're coming for me next...how will anyone know if it's me or the hacker? It's like the identical android problem...she'll even have my avatar, and I drew that by hand myself!
    Can they get you if you're logged in? I may have to stay online forever here!

    It's not really hacking at this stage is it? Just using your username to try and guess your password. So... make sure your password isn't "god", "guru" or something similarly inane and you should be ok.

    I've gotten about 30 emails from DigitalPoint, all saying the same thing.

    Could something be done about this, please? I'm sick of this person (or thing) trying to get into my account.
