I didn't think this would happen so quickly... like when your parents can't work out how to use the dvd player... I can't work out why twitter is so damn popular. I just don't get it. I've signed up, poked around, and there's nothing that there but random mumblings. But then day in day out, it's twitter this twitter that. And you know something is really picked up when there's 3rd party apps / sites like twitterverse, tweetscan, twhril, etc., etc., but even these third party apps seem useless to me. So someone explain to me why everyone is so into twitter. Where's the value add? Is it just a passing fad?
