    Hello,

I have created a landing page for clickbank . I would like to ask experienced people over here , Could you please look at it and then tell me what modification etc should I do before I advertise it .

I will be grateful , I did advertise it with around 10$ , but couldnt get any sale . So I have stopped the advertisement would like to first get the landing page right with your experience.

Should I post the url here? Is it allowed ? If so I ll post it here otherwise I ll pm you .

    Thanks

I would like to make this thread like starting from scratch . Please tell me what modifications I should do to the landing page . I'll do that and once you pro think it is finally ok and worth promoting I will promote it and keep updating this thread with my results . I hope you wont mind.

    Hey I M Gr8,

Looks like you're off to a good start - that's the most important thing!

However, my advice would be to concentrate more on the smoker themselves, and how the products will help them. Many people (even smokers) know that smoking is bad for them, so I think your facts on it may be a little superfluous, even if appropriate.

Try to frame the landing page from the perspective of the smoker. Empathize with him. Communicate to her. Think about the emotions they're feeling right now. Are they frustrated with themselves? Angry they've thrown $$$ away on other programs that didn't work? Shamed that they haven't been able to kick the habit yet? What emotions are they feeling that your product will help address?

Also, you need to talk more about the product! As it is, the links look like kind of "supplemental results", that are just added in for good measure, rather than products you're directly pushing to a hungry crowd. Try setting up a description & if possible, picture of the products, make it very clear to the visitor that this will indeed help accomplish exactly what they're looking for.

Anywho, those are my thoughts - feel free to take 'em or leave 'em :)

Overall, great job on getting a domain & page up, and the research on getting your site together.

    -T

Thanks alot Terlmari , I'll definately look into your suggestion.

I'll wait for 3-4 other replies and then try to implement suggestions of all posters and update the page.

I like your suggestions , I will be implementing them.

    Hi,
I smoke, and I must say.. Your page makes me want to smoke more. Hmm I like informative sites that tell me what I already know. It's winter and my windows are opened.

That was very helpful, Mike. On behalf of DP'ers everywhere, we appreciate your willingness to spare some ones and zeros with your oh-so-insightful post.

As far as the original post...my opinion is for you to use some more white space and narrow the margins so that it is easier to read. And Telmari actually did give some great advice (but he usually does)!

    Good domain name.
Narrow the page to hold the attention of the veiwer and give bite size chunks of info.
Use more warning colours on the page using bolded reds and yellows.
As an idea and a different slant....
Try two campaigns - one aimed at the smoker - and one aimed at the relative/friend of the smoker.
As an example of this - I snore like a trooper. But I wouldnt actively seek a remedy (because rather selfishly it does not directly affect me)
But it does affect my missus who vary rarely gets a good nights sleep.
So consequently she has bought me counteless "snore remedy" products!
So, just summising - I would imagine there are a great number of smokers that have no wish to quit - but their spouse/children/parents desperately want them to, so try to reach out to them and appeal to them to help their loved one.
    Just a thought.

Yes, the page needs to be narrowed, put in some Goolge ads. It always seems to make a site a bit more real, to me anyway. Plus it they don't buy from your page maybe they will from an add.
