Someone suggest me the width and height(pixels) in which I should do this design?

    Im about to do a design for a book with the width of 21.7 Centimetres & height of 14 Centimetres. Someone please tell me what Width & Height(Pixels) I should specify in Photoshop?

    Just keep the same ratio aspect and make it in high res.

    Thanks guys, but 615 x 397 would that be enough? The actual resolution when converting CMs to Pixels comes around 2563 x 1654.

    yeah, 2563 x 1654px is 21.7 x 14 cm at 300 dpi. in Photoshop you can just switch between the 2 when you create the document. Hope that helps. Also, just wanted to say the only time i really ever use pixels is when im designing for web. normally print design you just use inches or cm in your case.

    Convert the "CM" to "Meters" and use the same as the size. Then increase the resolution to 300 or 500 dpi(depending on the quality required). Also if you are designing a book cover change the color options to CMYK base and a 8-bit aspect reso. (Default : 72 dpi and RGB base)
