I got scammed from trying to exchange , my paypal for someones egold. I have pictures of our conversation in yahoo , I took print screens , and I have the whole text file of the conversation. he says he invested the money in a site that pays in 7 days for cashout and he just noticed his egold was blocked so he cant give me egold or paypal , so should I wait for 7 days and not piss him off or go for a dispute in paypal? If I make a DISPUTE in paypal site , do they give me my money back? cuz I dont think they alow exchanges. what should I do guys
Well there is very less chance that pp will reverse the transaction cause that guy already removed the funds from his a/c as u mentioned.
How did u pay, from ur paypal balance or CC,if u paid from CC,then just call ur bank and open a dispute.
you can only get your money back if you paid by credit card, then you can call a chargeback. Other than that you were just scammed and theres nothing you can do about it. How much did he scam you out of?
I think your money is gone and there is nothing you can really do about it, but let this be a lesson to you, be careful with who you deal with in future.
Even if you report to paypal your account will be terimnated or banned..... Paypal dose not allow you to exchange money such as egold and paypal. YOU HAVE LEARNED YOUR LESSON!!! DO EXCHANGE MONEY WITH NOBODY!!
no-one stole your paypal money, you gave it away to a stranger, you did an illegal money exchange and wonder what happened? i question the IQ in your name, ask Shawn for a name change, you can show him this thread as the evidence that you need a name change to "i am stupid"
Yes this is not such a great thing, what you did. But one way to get him back would be to start investigating who he is and then when you talk to him mention things you found out about him........that might scare him into giving you your money back..........tell hime hes being investigated and you know this and that, blah blah It might work!
I think, for future we got lesson. Protect our valuable paypal account and not easily believe on anyone. Sorry to hear that you lost valuable money.
