Do you have an example of how you think they will advertise my site? SPAM is a general term.. I am just hoping that they do not drop my link in a million link farm networks. Google hates that.. As well that is too many links too fast.. You are supposed to receive all of your visitors within two weeks.. I figure my link will have come and gone too quickly for google to penalize me for anything.. Hoping to be in and then out of the system to quickly for it to have a negative effect.

I found another website that used this guys service and I analyzed what countries his traffic came from. His site is english speaking and his traffic was predominantly United States Traffic. So not that it says a whole lot but it is a start knowing that it wont be foreign traffic. Also I noticed in this persons feedback that quite a few are return customers who say things like thanks again or Im back for more. Others say they would buy again. Then the rest are just he A++ ebayer junk feedbacks that I hate. Again though I question all of these other peoples integrity to investigate how their traffic was delivered to them.. My traffic should get kicked off sometime late tonight or early morning I guess. I bought it last night and he said typically 24 hours to get rolling.

75k hits can easily be done through autosurf traffic. People with referrals on various programs can rack up 75k credits in no time at all.

I guess buying the traffic is like paying google to close your adsense account.. or any other advertising program for that matter

Ok the traffic has started to slowly come in.. So far about 26 visitors so I am guessing it just started. The hits are coming from the domain adverex dot com which seems to be a proxy of some sort showing inline ads in a frame. The site does not seem to be working right now but the actual referring url is adverex dot com/adserver/showinterstitial.php

I have not met anyone who lands on one of those inline ads or proxy ads and stops what they are doing to check out the site.. They just click "skip this ad" link in my opinion. So far not so satisfied.. I monitored 5 visitors that were on my site at one point and none of them ever left the home page and they were there for about a min to a min and a half. Just smells like start page surfing to me too.. I thought perhaps a program might be sending the hits but that referral url shows links for user navigation so that is all I got so far.

Yeah so far this traffic seems useless. They never leave the home page.. I have as of right now monitored the same visitor for over 13 mins now and still has not left the home page... This visits are not bots but they don't seem to do anything either. My website does not allow bots to create a user session and all of these forclaimed visitors have user sessions running.

It's either a hitbot, proxy spam, or a 1x1 pixel iframe on some websites where your website loads but doesn't get seen.

Traffic that cheap will always be trash.

Ok I think after only have received 250 visitors now I can confirm its crap. I have been monitoring the traffic for hours now. Out of 250 people nobody clicked anything. Typically they are there for 13 to 16 mins and then the visitor goes away. However the guest is not actually there that long because it takes about 6 mins or so for the user session to expire once someone has left the site.

Take a look at this graphic and you will see that nobody every does anything.. I have blocked out the ip addresses. This guy has 100 percent positive feedback. He is going to really need to do something special for me not to ruin is record. Basically its looking like I paid 18 dollars for someone to rob my bandwidth.. If this guy does not give me a legit text link or something when this is over then Ill be his first negative feedback.

I also noticed that there is one guest that stays on the page continuously. This guest is a bot because a user session is not being created by it. The funny thing is that the bots ip address changes so often... Its been there longer than any other bot ever has and keeps rotating ips.

They do not clarify.. They just state that your site will get visitors from quality sites. Read through this thread.. You will see where I stated that it seems to be some sort of proxy traffic, inline iframe ad or something.. They just do not say exactly. They just keep pushing that it will be real people sent to your site and that it will be english based traffic.. After my stats update maybe I will see some different referring urls and I can look further into it.

Just remember: if the 75,000 visitors they are sending are that valuable, they wouldn't be selling them (and especially not for under $20), they would instead be monetizing the traffic themselves.

You are right.. I am yet to see anything on the net the sounds too good to be true but is actually true. I was 99% sure of where this was gonna go before I ever volunteered to be the guinea pig. However I thought it would useful if I could report back here with a play by play on the whole thing. Maybe they can make a scams forum here and move this thread to there. Either way I hope I have helped someone not make the mistake of jumping into this type of thing.

I went to their website and they have an advertiser log in.. In your account the image below will show you all that they give you in your account. I have a feeling this guy might not even reply back to my ebay question about me being on to him.. If he does he will just beat around bush like I started being a webmaster yesterday or something.
