What type of traffic are they offering? Look to see if its popup or popunder type traffic.

Some of those traffic sites offer fake hits and not real visitors.

Tell you what.. I think the same thing.. Too good to be true.. How can you force 75k people to a site without it being inline ads.. I think they are just going to place you site in a network that iframes in visitors faces while switching pages.. I see that they have numerous listings offering this same thing.. Heres the deal. I will throw 18 of my own dollars in the trash can and let you guys know how it goes... If i see an increase in sales or anything I will let you guys know.. As well I will monitor what the referrer addresses are when they come in and investigate the referring urls and check their quality or ad delivery style and such... Ill post back here when any results come in.

Edit-- If I find out it is being done through frames I will ad a break out of frames script to my site so they are forced to my entire site and out of the other one.

 

Ok reading that quote stated by the ad they would be saying that this is a recent thing that they can offer at a low price because of doing test campaigns.. They have been running this same auction since March...

Ok here is what they will do right free download site for example like limewire 10000 users downloading 5 songs each each time the user clicks download 1 pop up for ur site comes and untill u have 75k it keeps happening! only problem iswith this shity marketing whats everyone do when a pop us comes read it? nah close the f*cker lol

 

Yeah I am going to give it a go and see what happens.. They claim to only deliver English speaking traffic from a network of sites that they described as quality sites. Within the first 20-40 hits I will be able to see all the stats.. Where traffic is coming from including country and everything.. Then I will follow the the referring links and see how the ads are happening if they are followable.. As well Ill see if I have an increase in member sign ups or sales as well.. Ill see just how legit it actually is.. The ebay feedback is positive but I am not sure anyone who left feedback is with no offense but as smart as I am or has the 9 years experience I do anyway. Well see...

 

If this is something super shady I am going to be a bit aggravated though.. Not from losing 18 dollars but ruining my image for 75 thousand people.. Well I guess maybe only a quarter of them will remember seeing it anyway.. Hey if they are legit my alexa rating should blow up pretty well if nothing else.

Thanks I have a feeling I may need it.. As well I agree with you on the Alexa comment but I have seen many others treat it as a golden rule.. Ive seen some hold it up beside Google page rank status as if the stats are god of online standing.
