Hey guys, my average CTR per day is about 140+/- but few days ago it went up to 500+, after which it goes down to my average again. I've contact adsense about this but they've not edit the CTR, what should i do? would adsense response to your report?

I was thinking about the affects if a competitor used proxy software and just sat and clicked one of my links. It could run me upwards of $100 in 30mins easy yesterday.

You can't do anything to avoid being click bombed except reporting the matter to adsense. Google knows the problems of its publishers and will safeguard our interests, hopefully :)

You should immediately send an email to Google adsense and tell them what happened and if you can give more details as far as you can provide i.e. IP address of who click your site, the time it happened, and how many you might suspect as fraud clicks.

    Thanks
    Shelly

I guess you're talking about click, not CTR. CTR is a percentage of clicks to impression. If you suspect of irregular click activity, yes I would recommend you to report it to google.
