I have a existing site i built long time(in .net and html) and i am having hard time finding a good html editor or website designer. Please advice something which is free or reasonably priced.

I would suggest using WordPress or DreamWeaver. However, I would spend a bit extra getting someone to develop a WordPress theme for you. After that you can manage all of your stuff dynamically.

I would always prefer Adobe Dreamweaver. Its support and features are good and is very easy to use.

P.S. I have been using it for last 6 years.

I use Notepad++ for editing HTML and scripts.
If you want more features for free you can check Aptana or Komodo Edit.

I've been using Dreamweaver for over 8 years now, from Version 4 to CS4 now.

Can't imagine editing code without it!

I've been using Dreamweaver for more than 10 years, and I recommand it to any one who can afford it.

If you can't, get Amaya. It's wysiwyg, and it's the official software from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). You'll get it there: http://www.w3.org/Amaya/.
