Someone mentioned something yesterday...I looked to see who had my domain name on...

    their sites...it ends up about 35. Some copied direct text and one actually downloaded spyware when you clicked on it.

    I had to whois like crazy to get emails and ask people to remove my website name. A few said I had to pay them to have it removed.

    Could this be why Google is dropping my pages?

    I did contact Google Security regarding this. This really is not right. They are just link farms and Google gives them high placement...no content just links.

    google will only drop your pages if you link to them, if they link to you doesn't count since you can't controle that...

    Well, why do they get a page one placement? It is basically spam. It isn't right.

    Melissa, the first thing I do when I see one of my keywords drop like a stone is run copyscape on my page targeting that keyword. Frequently I find something underhanded going on.

    I run copyscape, but I honestly haven't done it on every page...
