Someone logged in my paypal account and took out my money

    Heya i had $16.05 in my paypal account(i know its too less)

    Someone with id punitchhajer@yahoo.co.in logged in my account dont know how.I didnt give my password to anyone.He took out $16 from my account so can you please tell me how,what,when should i do?

    He took out on 13-May-2009

    Now that the Unauthorized Case is started mostly you will win and get back the money specially if there is a diffrence in the IP's

    You're screwed. Paypal is for scammers and Paypal give reason to them. If you're honest, you'll lose..

    The amount is really too less to worry much but even then, paypal would surely get back your money if it clearly sees the difference in the IP address between the two.
    Do not forget to change the password immediately and use more stronger and unique alpha numeric combination next time. :)

    But you guys saying Papypal is'nt a dependable source to keep money but whatever i earn online i keep in paypal as all clients mainly offer PAYPAL

    Yes, as mentioned in above posts, you will receive your amount but I would say do not keep high amount in your paypal account. It is ok to have around $20 or so. BTW from where are you? You can also add funds in your paypal account if you are in paypal list that allows funding your paypal.
