I just got an email from someone that decided to digg my post about upgrading the digital Point servers yesterday. Apparently they thought it was funny If you have time check it out and DIGG IT! You can see the digg by clicking the link below: Somebody diggs my post Their description on digg was: "Blogger Dude helps a friend move almost $100,000 of loaded Dell Blade Servers (20 dual-core 2.8Ghz Xeon processors , 120GB RAM, and 20 146GB 15,000 rpm drives) into data center and writes it up as if it was for his site which handles thirty (3-0!) unique visitors a day. DIGG it and show him some real traffic." It's pretty crazy, I just checked my Geovisitors and it looks like I have had more visitors in the last 30 minutes than I had in the first three months of my blog!
The real success story is that I made almost $0.60 cents in ad revenue from all the digg traffic today (and I only have 13 diggs so far). Just imagine if I had 100+ diggs... that could be close to $5 dollars!!!!!! What am I going to do with all this money? Any suggestions? J/K but I would like to see how much traffic I get if I make it to the top few pages of digg.com so please digg my post about the new Digital Point Servers! It's a pretty entertaining read and it has to do with the Digital Point forum that you are using right now!
That was an excellent post. I love to see when people have to get down and dirty – all in the name of technology. Good blog, maybe since you helped Shawn, he can now teach you the ropes of joining the 5 million club.
Well if you check out my digg traffic on Geovisitors you will see that I am well on my way to joining the "5 million club." NOT!! (but hey... I'm not complaining because it's still way more traffic than I usually get)! P.S. For some reason I think my digg go buried? Is there any way of finding out why this happened?
