White hats, newbies? My Friend... Are you encouraging the use of Black hat tactics? Im just a little confused on why you would call people who use White Hat Tactics newbies...
I don't usually post on here much as I'm way to busy building sites. I do both whitehat and blackhat and thought I would touch on the differences as both are very practical and profitable when done right. Whitehat = long time to get ranked, slow, meticulous, sustainable and pretty much most of the stuff you hear about on this forum. 1.build a site with great content 2.get a bunch of links the manual way 3.submit to directories, write articles, blah blah blah 4.wait The goal being build a site that will last a long time that you hope will stay in the engines ranking well after you've put all this work into it. Blackhat = fast, short lived, high ranking on MSN and Yahoo 1.use lots free sites 2.get lots of links anywhere you can 3.build tools to automate everything (keyword selection, site building, registering of free sites/domains, content scrapers, etc) 4.build massive amounts of blogs posting content from scraped sources 5.build build build The goal build as many sites as you can, as fast as you can, and get as many links as you can to them. They will rank in 1-2 weeks and then you can javascript redirect to your whitehat site which will not be penalized in anyway. So you get all the traffic for top 10 rankings for all the keywords you want while you whitehat masterpiece gains it's slow growing foot hold. I'll be honest neither are easy but if you can master them both you'll have a lot better understanding of how things work. People like to propegate lies on here. One thing blackhat can help you with is finding out what works quickly so you can implement it on your whitehat sites ligitimately. For example I've heard people say google can see if you use css to change the visibility of text to "none". Well that's total bs, we ran a test with nothing but text in visibility none and ranked number 1 for it. So make sure you don't take to much stock in what people are saying on here cause most of them don't know what they're talkign about and going strictly on hunches, not hard tests. Success, Smaxor
