And you think I would use a copyrighted picture to make a wallpaper, when I am worried myself about copyrighted things??

Its not a professional one, but its my first, and if you dont like it, dont use it, but I am not here to listen any criticism on it.

And about Legal action, I dont want to take action, since he is my father's elder bro's son.
I just want to prevent him copying it.
Is there anything I can do to shut down his hosting if he steals my wallpaper?

 

OMG, read this one more time. Keep in mind that a 'myth' is something that is commonly believed true but is actually false.

The photo is considered a published work. It is covered under copyright. They do not need to have an explicit copyright notice on it to be protected. You cannot just use any image you find through Google image search and think it is not covered under copyright because it is.

What is funny is that the link you posted to show that you were in the right about using someone else's picture in your Wallpaper states the reason why you are wrong.

I got it from google image search ( photo bucket).
And again I say, I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT PHOTO.
Its nothing but photo of some trees.
photo bucket provides these kind of photo for ALL PURPOSE, without any copyrights protection, we can use it in anyway we want, cuz the owner of photo is sharing photo with us, he is doing it on purpose, so that every one can use it in anyway.

now please, dont talk about that photo if you dont know anything about it.
if you arent interested in talking about the TOPIC , then please you can keep your mouth close.

Sorry but finding it on photobucket doesn't mean you have the right to do whatever you want with it. Oddly your cousin thinks the same way you do....imagine that...a thief mad at a thief for stealing what they stole.

We aren't criticizing your work. We are explaining basic intellectual property law to you. You are asking us what legal position you have against your cousin. You have NONE based on the fact that you don't seem to own the copyright to the original photo. Even though you altered the photo it's considered a "derivitive work" and still protected by copyright for the original holder.

So not only can't you do anything about your cousin but you yourself are stealing someone else's work.

some one just took a photo of a jungle and shared it on his profile, he DONT WANT any copyright on it, he is just a normal guy who is using internet, not a photographer, nor any web master.

What makes you think his photo is not copyrighted? It was said in a previous post that you do not have to say that it is copyrighted. You completely ripped off the photo too, the photo is of the forest. Its not like you did much.

I suggest you just leave the thread now, before you dig yourself a deeper hole.
