About 1 month ago I found out that someone in my neighborhood has been kicking me offline and stealing my cable. Basically, I came home and my TV and Internet were down so I checked the main box outside, and saw someone elses wires hooked in where mine used to be. I called the cable company. They came and put a lock on the box. 4 days later the lock was gone and my cable with it again. Anyways, that was about 3 weeks ago, and they havent done it again untill last night. I come home at 1a.m. I see my cable is missing again. Both tv, and internet are gone. I go to the main box, and this time not only did they tap into my cable but they connected some kind of rubber protectors; so I couldnt unhook them! They just left my wire dangaling like its no big deal...

So.... I was really angry last night. I took a knife to there wires... :D I cut the rubber off to unscrew the damn thing and then disconnected them permenantly. :p

That's what I would of done in the first place. Take some scissors and chop their cable in little pieces

Doesn't the cable company do something to them for stealing their signal?? Here you can go to jail if you do something like that

Yeah where do you live? The cable monster here spends millions I would assume to deter cable thievery. another thing, why didn't the cable dude or dudette do what you did in the first place.someone's being derelict in their duties as good little company worker bees.

In all honesty, if they're that blatant about it, there's a good possibility they might do worse, especially if they think they can get away with it.

Oh boy, you could have fun with this, on the pirates cable, take the center lead of the cable, solder it to one side of a lamp cord, solder the shielding foil to the other side of the lamp cord. Plug it in....

Well, anything plugged into the cable would be destroyed, computer, tv, vcr's etc.

    Wow. Thats an idea.

These people are really sneaky. From the very beginning they have been playing mind games. They unplug my wires, switch them out with my neighbors who actually pay for cable, and then use my neighbors cable jack. This is suppost make me think that my other neighbor is stealing my cable. Anyways, I called the cable company and they told me they could only put a lock on the box because they had no proof of who was doing it. I did however convince the employee to disclose who was paying for cable around there. Now, I feel alittle better about cutting his wires. I am thinking about going to their home to complain.

Just 'unplug' their doors, and windows, eat their computer, pour vinegar on their bed, and toast their hamster.
