Sent over 200 personal messages trying to draw users away from my site. Is this against google tos?? I reported them to google anyway last night
I dont see it relating to google. So i guess you could write your personal mail to him directly. Remember NOT to use your own private email address or you risk getting more spam.
Yeah... Google has nothing to do with it. Just ban the IP and make a thread that explains the situation to your members. --Joe
If the "Someone" is only one then ban his IP. Some forums have hundreds "Someone" and they cant do anything to stop spamming.
Ban the IP and also look to see if the domain extension on the email is bannable! By that I mean it is not hotmail or yahoo! If it's something weird or you know that is a spamming email, then ban it from making new registrations! Also do a member search and see if anyone else has that email address, they are probably spamming also! Hope this helps!
google has nothing to do with it. go to the administrators control panel and warn/ban his user name... simple as that
Don't ban him just disable his PM facility from the admin panel If he opens the thread then just edit out his URL with your own URL. After somedays ban him. And if he comes again then ban his whole I.P. range with xxx.xxx.*.* in the control panel of your hosting.
Google has nothing to do with it. Here is what you do: 1) contact his Host, registrar, and complain as hell. 2) Ban his ip(s) in your forum, from cpanel, as well as in your firewall if any. 3) Ban his username, email on your forum. 4) Take the url from the spamming text, and put it into censor options of your forum. Should give you some peace of mind. regards DL
I made a topic explaining his site had viruses all over them lol and my members dont want to have nothing to do with that site lol
