I've found a site that's been copying my blogs and posting them on their own site, word for word! Is there anything I can do about this? Obviously it's going to count as duplicate content and I could be deamed to be the one copying the articles. Any advice please? Thanks
Some lines are translated as it's in another language (not english) but about 98% of it is copied. And they've taken out the links I had on lots of anchor text. I'm raging right now! There isn't any contact info on the site.
Report it to their hosting provider. This happened to me before where someone copied a successful forum of mine. I don't put up with stuff like that.
Have you ever think to contact their hosting provider, they will take care of this business if they find they hosting illegal content.
never matter dude. You just keep doing your casual work there and do your main work on some other blog, if you dont get any solution then!!!
I hope I could say being copied is the greatest compliment. if you can't trace the xerox copier, you can always put a kind of warning on your blog that says something like: This blog is illegaly duplicated at www.xeroxcopier.com. Hurray to me! (then put an angry smiley at the end). At least they'll know who's the original.
LOL.Good suggestion.Just write on your blog about their copying and I am sure they won't copy this article
depends on their intelligence if they're smart, this copy that will become that copy this and it'll lead to blog war which'll lead to more visitors to either side or both which means $$$ who's up for copying my blog? $$
How do they do this? Do they take your feeds? If so / limit how much you let them have, say just first 100 chars or along these lines.
