Someone hacked my Godaddy account and Gmail (Need advice)

On Saturday some person hacked into my Gmail and was able to make GoDaddy change my password, he then went into Godaddy and is transfering my domain names.

I thought Gmail was being stupid, but today I learned that I was hacked.

I last logged into GoDaddy that Friday.

GoDaddy wants my Customer PIN but I can't find that because it is in my GMail account, so they can't help me until I have access to my Gmail.

I will be sending to Gmail a form stating my account was hacked, but I have to try and remember a lot of past history information about my account.

Is there any other way to get GoDaddy to secure my account and give me back my new password and domains?

Please help, this is worth a lot of money and need to do everything right. I have learned a good lesson to not use gmail or godaddy.

I had the same problem and godaddy was no help for me...

I had to pay the hacker.

Try to email gmail team and send them copies of your id and driver's license to prove you're the owner of the account.

Not sure but how Gmail accounts are being hacked. Looks like there is some loop hole somewhere in their system.

If you are checking emails from a public computer like cybercafe, then make sure you delete all the cookies and temporary files before you leave the computer. Most problems start from public computers.

Anyways, try to email godaddy, your photo id and address proof. May be that works since they can match that details with the domain registrant details and you get your account back.

Here's what you should do if your Gmail account gets hacked.

    1. Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd

    2. It will ask you to answer your secret question and it will reset your password. If you don't remember the answer, proceed to step 3.

    3. If you don't remember the answer to your secret question, click on 'Change your password by sending an email to your secondary address' and it will send you your password to your secondary email you entered when you registered for your Gmail account. If you don't know your secondary email address and still can't get to the password, proceed to step 4.

    4. Go to http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/request.py?ara=1&hl=en and answer to all the questions in the form, they will check it and contact you on the email address you specify in the form.

In 90% cases, you can get back your account by following these steps. Good luck!

I agree with what you are saying but most intelligent hackers will always change that info so that the account cannot be retrieved.

A few days back someone hacked the gmail password of one of my members account and starting sending abusive mails to me. I reported the matter to cyber crime and cell and its only then I came to know about all this.
