Urgh. last friday, i withdraw 44 $ from my bank account, and yesterday i saw they were to be processed today, but guess what, in my account there are only 4 $. and after looking at my Log, it said i paid 40 $ to zoid@gethacks.net, I reported them to paypal, and they will take 10 DAYS !! to find out . Also can anyone tell me how i can sue there site gethacks.net cause of what they did ??
I hope you will persue this to the highest level. First, you can file a police report regarding the theft of your infomation. It's actually advisable to do so from what I've read as this will insulate and protect you if you have any identity theft in the future. Secondly, it should be rather EASY to track. IP addresses are logged. Domains are registered to names and addresses. etc. I believe that site is located in Europe however...
yeah, next step is a police report, but if the site is in Europe, how will police manage from u.s.a ? :S
Don't sue, just report to Paypal and as the other post has mention report to the police to cover you from further damages. Suing is expensive and you do not even know who you are suing, all they have is a web site, do you think that they will leave any tracking information for themselves to be caught?
hmm, yeah, Anyways, that site emailed me this I have decided not to reply, and instead forward the email to , right ?
The Police won't manage or even follow your case necessarily. However, if any information was stolen and down the road from now there's something that appears on your credit card or more information was hacked and used later, you can refer to the police report when working with credit bureaus. Best of luck.
LOl, guyz of Dp, guess who hacked my paypal account, its him above, he was added on my msn, "Bendik" he is the current admin of gethacks.net and battlemods.net, and i wouldnt have known that, before he Pmed me his Msn. WoW Bendik, great work, but you havnt read paypal's rules and stuff have you ? You can be charged for 1000 Us $.
PLEASE READ: I was trying to help the origional poster (Night1234) regarding these issues. I emailed him the domain information of the hacking site and trying to help, I did a search on the person (ZoiD) and found an email that I forwarded him with a post in their forum with information about their warcraft usernames, etc. etc. I was TRYING TO HELP. Now I'm being accused of being "the person." Right here on digital point? Does that make sense? Just a little upsetting... I was a victim of identity theft a few years ago and tried to help. Not only did Night1234 clearly not read what I wrote in my attempt to be nice; he's now making accusations here at Digital Point; a community I trust and respect. Please remove your comments Knight. If necessary I'll post my identity... I'm a college student doing a little affiliate marketing on the side; a national debate champion, and a Senate intern; not some warcraft obsessed hacker who's in all likelyhood located half way across the world.
1. Read my earlier messages. Now do the allegations make any sense AT ALL? 2. I wrote things like... "I can only think though that if this is your situation, unfortunately you're not alone...! Good luck with your situation. I think PayPal does the right thing in these cases." This can be verified by any moderator at Digital Point. I just wrote some advice on getting the persons PayPal account canceled and what i'd found when looking into the site. I'm starting to think this is a sick reverse con. I went to a who-is site and did some detective work for contact info etc. I sent it to Knight1234 just trying to help. That should have been very clear. I don't play warcraft or know any hackers. What gets me is, why is night claiming I contacted him on MSN? Maybe because there's no private message log for moderators to see? Very upsetting.
In response to a PayPal fraud incident posted on the Digital Point forums I wrote on 2/13: Good luck to you. It can be hard with the overseas call centers. Ultimately, the law and their TOS are both on your side so you should come out fine - I hope they can make up for this and fix your account quickly. Fraud is growing online but ultimately, paypal is still the safest and has some of the best protections in the end - although this still happens. good luck to you. Hey. Could anyone please tell me what happend? I`m Bendik the admin of Gethacks.net and Super moderator at www.Battlemods.net. We don`t scam or steal anything from ANYONE. If anyone wish to ask me a question or give me some information about this matter please add me to msn: BeniZor12@hotmail.com I do not own the website, It`s hosted by Naga. So he is the only one who can add emails such as "ZoiD@gethacks.net" So if anyone scammed you using such email it`s Naga's fault. Neither ZoiD or i got a gethacks mail. I use benizor12@hotmail.com only. And I`ve been using it since 2003. Regards, Bendik
I host gethacks.net I just checked the created emails and no one is set at maybe you can post some screenshots with the email. you know there is also phishing and fake emails out there.
Yes. Sorry naga for the other post. I took action way too fast. We believe it`s someone from www.d2-link.com who did it. They are unserious and money hungry bastards. While i and Naga does usefull stuff without scamming people.
