unless they are posting in your thread to steal your customers, nothing you can do.

what did you think, your the only person who does directory submissions?
its called competition and free enterprise.

That's REALLY frustrating, I don't think there is much you can do except maybe lower your price to 16.99.

Maybe they won't stick around long - once they stop advertising theirs, you can put yours back up to $18

yeah, I don't really think there's anything you can do. Like Sawz said, its a free enterprise so people are allowed to offer the same services as you. It is unfortunate that the person used your thread as a template...just view it as flattery!

From what I can see, your post count and itrader far surpass the other DP user, so you have more credibility. I don't think you will lose many customers, but I would consider lowering your price a bit and monitoring the other thread.

Honestly, you have nothing to worry about at the moment.

Most people should go with yours as you have amazing itrader and obviously have been around here longer than they have. A $1 difference wouldn't make me go with someone who could be a scammer rather than someone who has been doing it for much longer and is obviously not a scammer. I'm sure i'm not the only one.

You have a lot to be happy as that guy not only copied your thread but endorsed your services indirectly. In the world of cut throat competition, copycats rarely survives... :)

Directory submission is your idea? lol. These offers mostly look identical anyway. I think you are only upset due to competition, their is no idea theft here. If you have a better service, you'll have better feedbacks, and you'll have more customers. Btw, i'd not choose him/her over you to save a freakin $1, since you have a better feedback, reputation and itrader, besides he has an unprofessional offer with a lot spelling errors, so don't worry.
