My site is loveadviceforum.com I just found freedatingbox.com

Check these two sites out... have you ever seen such blatant copying?

So what can I do about it?

thing that i don't really understand is how he exactly copy your database ?
comments and everything is exactly same, the different is only the adsense

    your site :
    ns63.domaincontrol.com 216.69.185.42
    ns64.domaincontrol.com 208.109.255.42

    his site info :
    ns05.domaincontrol.com 216.69.185.3
    ns06.domaincontrol.com 208.109.255.3

also this guy is from china.. wow ..

humtuma, it is not redirected. If you read the text then you will see that the name and everything in the content is different.

The database isn't copied as far as I can tell. If you try and register and account, send mail through "contact us" or do anything that requires database access, you get a message that the "Closed for server maintenance - Please try again shortly.."

Everything he is showing can be reproduced by just showing the html and css that my site serves up. New posts on my site show up on his after a few minutes, like I am being spidered for new content every few minutes.

I guess I could try and figure out what IP address is doing it and block it but he could just keep changing IPs. I could also create a script on my site in the html that checks the domain and if it is not my site, throw up pop ups from every ad agency on earth... and maybe make a couple bucks off it but it looks like his copying script has the ability to search for text and replace it so he would disable it pretty quickly...

He's most likely taking your content via your rss feed and it's automatically posting your content to his site. You can send a cease and desist to his host, which almost always works to have a site taken down.

I also believe you can disable your RSS to prevent this from happening again. I've dealt with this many times, I've ran many forums. :)

The ads that he is displaying are my google ads too... he didn't change out the publisher ID. That's how I found it actually. In adsense, I noticed it started saying I was making money on the other site so I went to see what it was

The RSS wouldn't send out my entire html, my graphics, my css, everything on the site... I mean he even copied my ads and my DMCA Protected badge!

I wonder why he is doing this when he isn't earning thru it because adsense ads were also copied like Neil said.
I believe what colleen said about sending a cease and desist to his host will work.

I filed a complaint with Google to have it de-indexed and sent a DMCA take down to the host. So I guess I just sit back and wait now.

If you search Google for site:freedatingbox.com you will find (in addition to what was taken from my site) a bunch of pages that are dead broken links now. Google has the pages cached though so I looked up the cached version and copied some text on the cached version, searched on it, and found another site where the cached versions were stolen from.

So it looks like he has done this before with at least one other site, was taken down and tried again with my site.

It looks like the DMCA take down notice was successful... for now anyway until he finds another host.

specially this is new for me.

how they can get the same content including post from your site ?
this is not redirected, since it still in same domain. if we redirecting a website, the domain will change to the redirected domain.. CMIIW
also, redirecting can't change the adsense code.
using rss you can't get picture, logo, avatar and other images location..
and the strange, how can he get your member informations ?

so this is like content grabber behavior but not using rss.

have you check the vbulletin template ? also the vbulletin script ?
I don't know if something can injected to the vbulletin source and template..
just another idea to check.. :)

please report here anything you can found how they get your content.
really want know how he did it..

I think he was just spidering the site and displaying the same html, css, etc

His site didn't actually work. You couldn't register, post, send feedback, or do anything that would require database access. It just showed roughly the same html

READ READ READ about ICAPP and file a complaint
File a DMCA (you will have to google on how to do that)
Send a Cease and Desist letter to his host.

Hate when people do things such as this...good luck

I am not sure if freedatingbox.com was taken down before, but now it is active again. What I do not understand - I tried to check a content via 'copyscape' and it does not seem to register any duplicate content. Is it an issue with Copyscape or content was changes somehow to be unrecognizable by 'duplicate content' tools?
