Hey I just noticed from google PR that someone took one of my articles from ezine and posted it on his blog. Does this happen alot? I mean, I don't care because he left the link to my website so thats cool. I was just wondering.
Actually that is the purpose of Ezine articles and you should count yourself fortunate. Often webmasters will take the articles and remove your links. If you write good content then others will use it on their blogs and sites. The content will be duplicate, but you still get an increase in backlinks and potential traffic from the sites that use your content.
its actually fine because the person who coped your article is giving you credit and not removing the links, you would also be getting backlinks as well.
Well it's ezine. people will take your articles, heck even i do it sometimes. Now the best is when people leave your links and the worst is if they remove any credit to you.
Every now and then I will copy and past an article, a quote, but I also put in where I got it. For future reference, you may want to consider letting your readers know that you don't mind that they use your articles, as long as they include your url. In addition, let them know that you are also open to writing articles for their sites. Turn, what you think is a negative, into a positive.
if they kept the link your lucky, because most of them don't leave a link and take ownership of the article.
yes this is common and be glad that they leave your link . Because many will jsut take the link away It can increase your backlink in this way too
well, really that is the whole purpose of ezine, ezine itself doesn't bring too much traffic to your site but when others publish your articles on their's, that's what brings in the real traffic...
true. such kind of stealing happens to ezine often. you're lucky if they weren't removed your link otherwise, that's something that you need to pay attention then.
