My website is a tech/entertainment/humor website. I dont want to post the URL here (dont want it to show up in google). The company that approached me is a very established ringtone/cellphone game company. My Website: Opened it 2 months ago. This month, received just slightly over 76,000 visitors. You can see we are growing RAPIDLY, much because we have been a hit on digg/stumbleupon/delicious/reddit. I am offering them a site-wide EXCLUSIVE advertising plan. Meaning, theyd have 2 large banners. Theyd be the ONLY competition, so it wont be rotation. They'll be on EVERY PAGE ALWAYS. I am asking for a monthly payment type deal. How much do you think it would be worth? Thanks for any insight. Im new to this.
How many page views do you get? Do you already have ads on your site? If you run AdSense, see what your eCPM is and charge something higher than that based off of CPM.
I will, but I am going to mess it up so it doesnt show up in google search results (i dont want people to search my URL and find me having no idea what to do with advertising, lol) it is www-dot-didnt-read-dot-com Anyway, what does the URL have to do with it? Isnt it the pageviews that count?
To me, I was confused too, I logged on to buysellads.com and searched their directory for sites close to my sites (nitch, page views, alexa rank, ads count and size...etc). It was rather easy for me to decide then I've got one spot taken out of four. I hope that helps.
I prefer to get a percentage of their sales if they will go for that- then you also have an extra incentive to drive quality traffic.
Why don't you ask them how much they think it is worth? As an advertiser myself, I can't see spending no more than, say, a hundred bucks a month, if that.
