I personally belong to 2 of the best in the business and still have not made much money. Both programs I have been a member since 2005 and have spent way more than I have earned. I have tried advertising with google adwords and yahoo search marketing neither one gave me great results other than a big bill. Now I honestly know that 98% of people who try a home business of some sort fail. I also know that building a list is a big part of working online. What should I do next ? Just the other day I got a e.mail from somebody saying I should try out a program called Affiliate Cash Secrets they give you a 30 day challenge for $37.00. Has anybody here tried out this program if so let me know.
Making money online through affiliate marketing is lucrative and don't let anyone tell you different. However, don't let anyone tell you either, that it is easy, requires no work, or only takes 30 minutes a day. It takes a lot of work and knowledge. With that said, if you are tired of spending money to promote something, maybe you need to try some free techiques: Have you optimized your site for the keywords you are interested in? Back up: Have you even done keyword research to begin with? Write some articles laden with those keywords and submit them to article directories Create a blog and start posting information relevant to your niche Start commenting on blogs in your niche and establish yourself as an expert Do the same in forums relevant to your niche Open up a squidoo lens in your niche and start adding content Do the same at hubpages Can you advertise your niche on Craig's List? Is there a section for it Same at Usfreeads Hope this helps get the wheels turning for you
Your going about it the wrong way. Don't bother looking at offers through emails unless you know the source of where the email came from, like it was a friend of yours or something that sent it. Personally I would never pay to join something where I would then therefore make money. Affiliate programs is a way to make money and they do work, if they didn't then there would not be all of these affiliate programs on the web. The thing with affiliate programs is that a lot do fail and that's because they lack in a few things and would therefore not make money. Some just doesn't have the time that it takes to work with affiliate programs enough, some want's to make money, but have not got the patience to learn, some just puts up a few affiliate programs, but not sure the best ways to optimize them, some people are unsure of good ways to pre-sell products, some makes a good website, but then fails at promoting it and getting good traffic, etc. Affiliate marketing can bring you good money, but it also involves a lot of time and work to get there.
Affiliate marketing definitely takes time, work, dedication, and most importantly PATIENCE! A lot is trial and error as well.

1. Not everyone who makes money online uses lists/email marketing. I don't. 2. Yes affiliate programs work... But it's not as easy as some folks would have you believe (as you've already found out.) 3. It can be very difficult finding the right affiliate programs to promote and even harder getting traffic to the program once you find it!
