I've never used google adsense before. Last week , I tried to register google adsense. It's disapproved. Google said that , they noticed I registered the service before . And they sent me a strange email . Does it mean , some one registered it with my name ? What should I do ? I wrote back to google , they kept silent .

I wonder how many Bob Smith's have tried to register with Adsense and were rejected! What is someone to do? Have their name legally changed to get an Adsense account? :D

Contact Google and see what you can do to request help.

It's not based on name, it's social security number based, so I don't see how your name would be the reason you weren't accepted.

USA residents have social security numbers, so I can see that. But many of the other countries don't.

So those countries register solely on first and last name? That's strange.

There must be some other method of personal identification involved, even in countries that don't use a SS# type system. I can't see how Google could keep individuals separate. I guess just an address based registration might keep things straight. Very strange.

The email was not mine. They said that " I " have been banned from google adsense , I can't create new account , because the clicks are invalid.
