Why? What if you succeed (and get traffic) how will you make money, or ever own your forum? Edit: Free software can be good, but you might want to pay for decent hosting and your own domain name.

It should be very easy. Do a search on Google and sign up for any one of the free forums available. Should take you less than 10 minutes to get everything ready. But I would advice you to get a domain and hosting and get yourself a proper forum. That way you can earn from advertising and other type of promotion activities.
stay away from free forum services, chances are you won't be able to get a database backup, and when your forum gets popular, your going to have a problem if you need to move to a paid solution. you need total control and a free forum service does not offer that. find a free host and buy your own domain name, don't let someone buy it for you. total control, you got to have it.
Yea that way sawz is rite.. But some free forum service let u take backups but than you cant install your own mods and stuff so its better get a free host and install phpbb or smf
