Somebody injected tons of Viagra link in my blog-not ranking anymore!

    Someone injected like 100-200 spam links into my blog template right after body tag using display:none method.

    My site is not ranking for it's own name and all other keywords anymore.

    Spam links are still in catche: http://www.google.com/search?q=templateslord.com

    I removed links from template and upgraded to latest WP version.
    I sent reconsideration request to Google webmaster central and explained what happened in detail.

    Do you have any idea how long it can take to review my site there? 2-3 months?
    Will they get me back my rankings for sure?

    i think there is no definite time as to how long it will take to put you back up. i guess it depends on many sites are up for review...

    let this be a lesson to all.. always upgrade to the latest WP version ASAP :)

    It'll take some time. Your case will have to be reviewed by their staff. If you included a detailed explaination of what happened (such as "my paid WordPress Theme included malicious code I wasn't aware of" and then rat out the offending party) they'll be more likely to honor your request.
