somebody hacked my mybb forum

    Somebody hacked my mybb forum and change my admin status.
    So, i can login as member and cannot 'admin access' my forum.
    How can i restore my admin access?

    can you not do it through CPanel, and changing it directly in the database?

    can you explore your DB? How does mybb work by the way? Is it similar to VB?

    Its better u hire someone like me to do it as there could be backdoors left by the hackers aswell

    I can barely do mysql myself i wouldnt want to start telling you how incase i make mistakes im not confident enough to guide someone else through it.

    PM me and I will help. You need to gain access to your db through phpmyadmin on your hosting account and change the md5 hash to gain access again.
