somebody click bomb on my ads today

hello dear friends,

today when i logged in adsense account i see strange thing

on 500 impressions its showing 336clicks and ctr 29%

usually it was 60 to 80 clicks on 4000 or more impressions and ctr remains b/w 1 or 2%

i closed my site when i see this to prevent these ads clicking but im still confused what happening

somebody trying to attack me and wanted to disabled my account ????

no, start your site. ban the ip, who click on your site. if google see that your site is off, they may disable your account.

 

I would keep that site up like mim24 said and contact Google AdSense ASAP, because if it's down your going to look like the guilty one

 

anybody tells me how can i track who is clicking on my ads because in google analytics it not show from which ip click coming

 

contact adsense, send your stats and the invalid ip address.

Be careful with your account . You may loose your account.
Or else, you can send the google adsense customer care through mail that your getting invalid clicks.

 

earnings against 336 clicks? If you haven't earned much against 336 clicks than don't bother because there is a system in adsense which blocks and indicate the repeated clicks as invalid

 

500 impressions with 336 clicks should be 66%, not 29%.
If this is the case, track the ip and report to Adsense if necessary

 

well how you people track the IP?

For starters, you may want to try inserting StatCounter code in your website. They have an Adsense click tracker.

However, i noticed recently that they don't track all adsense clicks. I think if the ads are Flash-based, they cannot track it (just guessing).

Atleast you can start with that.

500 impressions are from pakistan and 336click also from pakistan

with all impressions it shows 29%ctr

i guess somebody wanted to block me from adsense ads

and i cant disabled ips of that person because here in pakistan people use dsl with dynamic ip's and 85% of my visitors from pakistan comes from PTCl which is the largest dsl providing and only landline company here so blocking any ip means blocking almost entire ptcl ips

 

Like mentioned before, contact Adsense support, just to be on the safe side.

 

There are numerous ways to track an IP. The easiest way is to visit Google and search IP Locator....or something like that. You can also search an IP manually for that PM me I am afraid I could break some forum rules if I post them here.

 

Check your stats into awstats, pick ip and send it to adsense team.

Understand your situation. If this is the case, you might consider report to Adsense. Normally they will take action on it and make all those clicks as invalid clicks

 

i would never report to google instead just disable ads on the blog,new google adsense interface can track click for any country,i use cloudflare and sometime when click bomb happen ,i will banned that country from entering my blog.

 

Hopefully you do not lose your account. That would be the worst case scenario here.

 

It's best to contact adsense regarding your problem. Disabling your site will not help.
