Some Visitors Are Still Randomly Being Directed To My Old Server

Over a week after getting a new VPS and changing my domains nameservers, a couple of my users are still randomly being sent to my old server where they get a page that says that I'm switching servers (this page isn't on my new VPS). I suggested that they clear their cache, but that didn't help. It's only once in a while that they get connected to the old server, but then they continue to be stuck on the "We're Switching Servers" page on my old server for a period of time before the domain starts pointing to my new server for them again. This hasn't happened to me, but has happened to at least two different users. Does anyone know why the domain would randomly point to the old server for them this long after I changed the nameservers? And how do I prevent this from happening?

Thank you to anyone/everyone that helps!

Depending on their ISP it could take a long time for your dns setttings to propagate all around the world just give it some more time and see what happens.

probably due to nameservers having old ips cached still. have clients flush their caches

    Hello there,

You may have some errors in your DNS that is causing their ISP's not to cache the results. Try putting your domain name in here, and see what it says.

    Regards,
    Chris
