Some Urgent Questions related to Joomla 1.5

I have installed the latest joomla but i have a little problem.
Considering the default theme provided by joomla 1.5, how can i accomplish the following :
1) How to puts ads and on all pages?
2) How change the Title of the "Front Page"
3) How to use User IP,cluster map, User number, babel fish in resources menu?
4) How to make a wordpress like About page?
5) How to make a page where only 1 Article per page can be posted?

Also can anyone find me a free joomla template similar to the default template provided.
Other good templates are also welcomed.

I can't answer all of your questions, since I'm new to Joomla 1.5 myself.

2. Change the title of the frontpage by going to menus--> main menu-> home. Look at parameters-system on the right.

For templates check out joomla24.com or the new free template Jamba by Joomlashack. You need to register to download, but it's free.

 

There are 3 methods to put your ad

1. using banner component
2. using 3rd party already made ads module
3. make your own module, from admin backend go to Extensions --> Module Manager --> choose New --> Custom HTML --> put your ad code in Custom Output

I am not quite sure what you mean about question 3.

4: Create an Article at Content -> Article Manager and then click "New". You can assign the article to a section/category or leave it uncategorized.

5: Link a single article to a menu item instead of a section or category.
Point to Menu -> Main Menu (for example) and click "New". Then go to Articles -> Article Layout and select the article that you want to link to the menu.
