Hi! I just made a new site to a customer but, he want to rank it in google.com. The site was indexed but it not appear not even in top 100. Any tips how to raise the rank? the site is www.cadastrul.ro i made squidoo, blogger, wordpress, twitter, facebook links what can i do more to lift the rank page? Thank you.
Well difficult to tell you everything you need to do but you definitely will need some better links. Twitter and Facebook links are probably not being used to a great degree by Google at this time and if they are, you will need a lot more. You need to firstly create a site which offers something of value, and has a UVP(Unique Value Proposition). Give people a reason to link to your site naturally. Do some manual link building including article marketing, directories, and press releases etc to increase your link popularity and crawl rate. Promote via social media and try and generate some interest this way. This will then hopefully provide you with some "natural" links which will help you to rank better. It's a long process and can take a lot of time to rank. Think 2 years or more for really competitive niches. Think about what the site offers people and work on promoting those aspects. May also be worth employing an SEO(pm me if you want a quote) as SEO work requires knowledge and experience. SEO is also very time consuming.
Yes, gordongekko is right.... you need many links coming in from many different source types. Twitter and Facebook have their purposes, but not so much for ranking. Twitter and Facebook can get you recommedations and folks sharing your link and content, but only if it's of value. Get links from aritcles, blogs, forums etc. Also your backlinking structure is important... they need to interlink to subpages. Set up a wordpress blog on your site... and post content using your keywords... that will take you places faster than anything.
if you are trying to get a rank for tough keywords, dont expect this to come easy, and you should ask for a payment for this kind of job, i would use wordpress as a main platform for the site, and then add plugins for seo, such as all in one seo plugin, some social bookmarking plugins, automated google sitemap generator, and others, these will make it easy for you. i would also do keyword research and find the best keywords to rank for. getting links from free source will be hard to find, and you probably will need to spend decent amount of money if you are trying to rank top 10 for big size keywords.

I saw your site and to me i feel, if the display of content, caption and the links were placed rightly, the people who take a look at it may spend a little time to view, if at least anyone of them get benefit surely your site will get more traffic and unique visitors.
the website on which you are working out is a romanian website, so you need to focus on getting more romanian links rather than working on general links.
