Some tips for ranking an arcade site in SERPS?

I think I've pretty much figured out the main aspects of SEO for content sites but I recently bought a couple of arcade sites and I want some tips on ranking well in google.

I noticed a technique used by atarcade.com which is to add a big block of text at the bottom of the page that repeats the game title about 25 times.

Any body have any other tips for me?

    :)

My advice is , do not do like the site you mention , dont repeat the keywords like that, you might get some traffic in the start but over optimizing is never a good idea.

    1. Put your keywords in the title of the pages. ( not to many ).
    2. Make long and unique description of the games. mention the keywords a few times in the description.
    3. Do not use description from other sites, everything you do must be unique.

    Thats it!

Thats pretty much what I thought. I bought a script with 1300 games and will need to write a block of text for each one  .

I think another tip is to make use of anchor text in internal links. I would like to have text links to 10 other games on each game page. I don't know much php so I can only come up with a random link generator to do this.

    thanks for your responce

    Definitely don't spam keywords.

Sorting your arcade games into general categories and then having each game link to all related games would be a good idea. If the lists are too big though, make the categories more specific.

Try to get some established game sites (i.e. addictinggames.com) to publish a few of your games and give you backlink and traffic.

Get a keyword in domain is quite important.

Like my F2P.ORG, just a new site

F2P stands for Free to Play, it ranks well in GOOGLE, YAHOO, thats my main traffic comes from.

Keyword stuff eh? Good luck then, I think you must do that if you are an expert on SEO. Well, I think you must stick on grey hat techniques for you to avoid penalties by Google

'Keyword stuffing' is abit of a dirty name.

Its just writing text for the purpose of including targetted keywords.

If I go through my arcade and write unique descriptions of each game then I will make sure I fill it with the game name etc. Nothing wrong with that really?

I think hes on about keyword stuffing and the 25 times the game title is at the bottom of the page :p

Theres nothing wrong with writing unique descriptions for the games that will work well.

Find a keyword, get link partners, buy links, submit articles or whatever you need to do to get backlinks just try not to use spammy techniques :)
