Some serious ad sense confusion...

    Hi,

    I have been so busy building a site that I haven't been so into ad sense yet. I have a lot of confusion as you might or might not understand. During my first 2 weeks with ad sense I got 3x as much money with 3x less visitors compared to now. How can this be? Also please have a look at my attachment.

    Why is sun, with less page views and the same amount of clicks as sat, generating 50 times more earnings? And my average CTR is 0,08! Isn't that ridiculously low?

    its simple, your visitor clicked on the ad which has more CPC (cost per click) than the one who clicked on sat. See the CPC, on Sat was 0.08DKR and CPC on SUN was 3.38DKR.

    Thank you for your reply. This made it a bit less confuzing. But still, I have done some research online and it seems like the average CTR is about 1% I really don't understand what I can be doing so bad that my average is as low as 0,08?

    how much you get paid depends on how much the advertisers spend on ads. sometimes high paid ads get served which makes you more money. but at the end of the month, its the average that counts

    Thank you for that. Does how much advertisers spend on ads only depend on page views? And i'm still wondering why my ctr is ridiculously low.

    Hi dont get confuse with these ads. It all depends on the advertisers spends money on there ads. Google will distribute the ads according to there interest. And google will share you the money what they spent.
    No one can estimate the money, they can earn per click on the ads. But we can just maintain more quality content on your site and if you optimize the site , you will get more money.

    High paying ads is the reason for that.. And also the CPC. If your content is relevant to high paying ads then you would surely get good bugs in lesser amount of clicks..

    why didn't you put a link to your blog??/ google adsense is highly paying in some regions and very low in some others.. if your blog is related to technology (windows 7 or mobiles or etc..) adsense will be highly paying because in that category several advertisers are paying highly which includes Microsoft and Samsung....
