Some Script to backup..???

    I need a script to backup my forum on my VPS , I need something so that it transfers the backup to a remote FTP server after each 12 hrs.. and the file should have the date and time (date will also do) of the backup..

    Help anyone??

    but you will need to give details like wat control panel and you want full backup including sql or just files ?

    I have cpanel and I need full cp backup.to be taken on a remote FTP after every 24 hrs... :)

    Well you could use the standard cPanel backup tools and select just your site to be backed up and have it set to FTP backup. Or you could use BMU a tool created by someone on the cPanel forums. You can find BMU here: http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=58096 .
