Some real good math on behalf of the US government...

Looking t a story in CNN it appears someone is trying to hide some... and that soemthing is... well an absolute LOT of money. According this this story (http://money.cnn.com/2009/01/06/news/economy/where_stimulus_fits_in/index.htm?cnn=yes) the US government has dished out $7.2 Trillion in bailouts...

They reference $29 Billion to Bear Stearns
They reference $245 Billion to Citigroup
They reference $600 Billion to gaurantee money market deposits

And then they stop by saying the list goes on and on.

The list they provide equals up to $974 Billion.... so the on-going list must have the details on the other $6.2 Trillion.

Perhaps if one looks deep enough they can find where that $6.2 Trillion went but it seems to me that this is pretty lazy journalism, doing a story on $7.2 Trillion worth of bailouts and only talking about $974 Billion worth of them in the article.

Typical CNN propaganda, that's why they can't tell you about the rest - because it's probably not true/entirely accurate.

After $1 trillion people have a hard time counting accurately. I can't even understand a number that big.

    1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
