Sakokassabian ... What kind of help do you need? Be a little more specific. Help with: website, traffic, SEO, advertising, Domain names, etc.

    regards,

    Hello and welcome!

Social bookmarking provides backlinks to your website. Having a link back to your site from high PR sites indicates to the search engines that your site has relevance. Over time, your relevance gets rewarded with higher rankings.
Social bookmarking is one of many techniques used to gain traffic and higher ranking in the SERPS

The hardest, most time consuming, and probably the most expensive thing you'll have to do is find a method that works for you. Whether it's PPC (pay per click campaigns), CPA (cost per action) marketing, article or BUM marketing, etc. you'll have to find a method that you understand and can somewhat enjoy doing. That doesn't mean internet marketing is ALL fun and games (even though a lot of it IS fun). It's a ton of work. The only reason i say that you should do something you SOMEWHAT enjoy is so that you don't go crazy doing all the work :).

As a newbie, you should probably get into selling services first to fund your new career in IM. Are you a good writer? If so, sell articles, content, or spinning services. If you know how to build backlinks, do that for people. Little steps first :).
