i applied for the youtube adsense thing just today. no saying if they'll approve it or not. some of my youtubes contain copyrighted stuff like music and some are completely original no music in the background or anything. I checked my copyrighted info on youtube before i applied and it says that my account is in good standing. I figured we would be able to pick and choose which videos we'll be able to have the ads up without risking getting the others taken down. but i guess when you apply they will take down any videos that have copyrighted info even if it says that your account is in good standing? there's no saying I will be approved or not but I just wanted some clarification I cant seem to find online. I'm planning on doing some youtubes on reviewing organic stuff which I originally started a second youtube channel for but I deleted the account because I dont want to manage two separate youtube channels so i figured it would be better to go with the one that I atleast had some subscribers to without having to start from scratch. If I don't get approved, its no biggie, I will work on getting a bigger audience anyway but I dont want my older vids with background music taken down for just applying. well, considering I cant undo an application I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see (crossing fingers and toes)
I got approved pretty quickly, within 6 hours. None of my videos were taken down and now I can choose which vids I want to submit for monetization. Pretty good so far
