    Hi,

I am looking to make a proxy site with some open source script just for learning purpose(atleast initially)

Now my question is when a user uses my web proxy site to access some web page or to download some images, than will it eat my bandwidth or my site will only act as a "pipe" between the user and target site?

is making a proxy site worth spending my time on ?

    Regards

It will use your bandwidth whatever the user browses! It depends, they are an easy income with having to do no additional work to it, but can be mega cpu/bandwidth munchers
