Some questions about advertising - the best advertising sites to use and the best categories to advertise in – when advertising affiliate programs ?

Hi a few questions for you all.

When placing an ad should I put ads in certain cities only or should I use multiple locations.

When posting an ad so that add get better results when posting it – should I post it in one or two cities rather than all over the place or does it not matter.

Also what are the better/more lucrative sites to advertise in as well as the better /more lucrative cities to advertise on and in.

Sorry I sure do have mentioned that. I am promoting how about three different affiliate programs.
The main one is called SBI a type of web hosting service.

The others are some alternative health products.
